The One Shot Festival - 21
An anthology of cult titles or very high quality but whose group has produced only a "One shot" or so few titles that it would have been ridiculous to devote an entire article to it.
Part 21 :
Kraze – The Party 1988
Story Structure – I told you 1989
Tanh Chi – How long is a day 1987
Terry, Blair & Anouchka – Missing 1989
Do Piano – Again 1985
The Cat Club – One last kiss 1987
1988 ... undoubtedly one of the founding titles of the House current which will reign supreme in the years that will follow. Kraze, carried at arm's length by the Haitian Richard Laurent, will unfortunately not be able to capitalize on this huge title ...
1989 ... a quality Canadian group which will have passed like a shooting star in the musical history of the 80s. Too bad because the potential was real ...
1987 ... from the Anglo-Saxon, that's for sure, but on which side of the Atlantic, good question. What is certain, however, is that the title holds up !
1989 ... the umpteenth adventure of Terry Hall. After The Specials, Fun Boy Three and other Colourfields, he is now embarked on the Terry, Blair & Anouchka adventure. A short-lived adventure unfortunately, one more concerning him ...
1985 ... originally from Switzerland, the singer will have produced almost only this title. But as often during this decade, a single title will have allowed many artists to leave a mark in history. The proof !
1987 ... a quality Made In UK title once again and which will remain as the only opus of this most ephemeral group. We will be happy with it !
