There's not much interesting information about The Jones Girls other than the fact that they were an American trio composed of sisters Brenda, Valorie, and Shirley Jones.
This trio will primarily be remembered in the music history of the late 20th century for their hit Single "You Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else," released in 1979.
For this reason alone, we felt compelled to dedicate this article to them.

Tracks :
1970... a rather discreet start with this first Single that went somewhat unnoticed. Everyone has to start somewhere, as they say...
1972... what is certain, however, is that these girls have the potential to do great things. The question remains, though, what exactly will they do with that potential ?
1972...for now it's not paying off much, but as they say, time will tell. There will come a time when their efforts will produce the desired results...
1973...il est clair que ce ne sera pas pas pour ce début de décennie et il va donc falloir que les filles redoublent d'efforts pour y parvenir en tout cas...
1974...they persevere and do everything they can to make their dreams come true, it's undeniable. We're getting closer, we're getting closer...
1974... a mid-decade year that offered little prospect of significant improvement in their situation at this stage. To be continued...
1975...even if the girls aren't exactly taking off, their desire to do well is obvious. It's clear that it will pay off eventually, one way or another...
1975...the first part of the decade at least allowed them to show that they exist and, above all, that they can produce titles of undeniable quality...
1979...efforts that will finally pay off with THIS title ! They had to wait 4 more years but here they are finally rewarded according to their expectations !
1979...certainly there was now success, but the widespread success was unfortunately very short-lived because the subsequent downfall was going to be nothing short of violent...
1980... which didn't stop them from attempting to move into the next decade. And even if their success was now limited, there was still a minimum of success nonetheless...
1980... limited success, exclusively in the United States and on the R&B charts, but it's something. Many would be satisfied with that, in any case...
1980...three titles will be released during this year 1980 and all three will be ranked, which shows that the girls are still somewhat in the running...
1981...for how much longer, good question. Because this title will go largely unnoticed, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence about what's to come...
1981...business picks up somewhat with this new title, which allows them to continue to believe, at least a little, in the future...
1981...four titles were released during that single year, which is no small feat. Only two found favor with the public, including this one and its predecessor...
1981...that one, however, will also fly under the radar. Times are getting harder and harder for girls, it has to be said...
1983...we lost track of them during 1982, but here they are back anyway during 1983. The essentials are preserved, as they say...
1983... a year that saw them achieve two new successes, that's the good news. The bad news is that these two successes would be their last...
1984...only one Single was released during this new year, and it achieved only very limited success. Such is the harsh reality of the business...
1984...this track wasn't even released as a Single, but it would have been a shame to overlook it. So here it is, brought back into the spotlight as it deserves...
1984...same for this one. The album they're from only officially produced one Single, so it would have been a shame not to mention the others, especially if they're good...
1984...an album that frankly deserved far greater recognition than it received, considering the number of tracks of undeniable merit it contains...
1992...a long, eight-year hiatus, but here they are again. The only problem is that those eight years of absence don't just disappear...
1992...the public had long since moved on to other things, and even the core fans weren't necessarily back for this one...
1992...this new album will unfortunately be the last for the girls. Nevertheless, they can always be proud of their journey, that's for sure...
1992...because they managed to produce a number of tracks of undeniable quality, and for that alone, the adventure was truly worth experiencing...
