Narada Michael Walden, real name Michael Walden, is an American singer-songwriter whose nickname 'Narada' comes to him from the Hindu spiritual leader Sri Chinmoy.
Artist who began to stand out in the mid-1970s by joining the group 'Mahavishnu Orchestra', a group in which he participated from 1974 to 1976.
The personal career begins shortly after with the release of a first album "Garden of love light" also in 1976. A first opus which will not go unnoticed thanks in particular to the Single "Delightful" which is released a year later in 1977.
Also in 1977, his new album "I cry, I smile" was released, an album which would go much more unnoticed than its predecessor...
He will have to wait two years and the year 1979 to finally reap the fruits of his efforts with the release of two albums the same year, "Awakening" and "The dance of life". The first will produce the big Single "I don't want nobody else (To dance with you)" and the second will produce the huge "I shoulda loved ya".
New album "Victory" in 1980, an album which could not match the enormous success met by "The dance of life", an album from which the high-calibre Singles "The real thang" were nevertheless extracted the same year as well as "I want you” which will be released a year later in 1981.
The year 1982 will see the release of "Confidence", an album which will be his last major success in this category because the albums "Looking at you, looking at me" and "The nature of things" which will be released respectively in 1983 and 1985 will only experience a limited level of success.
On the Singles side, he will have a last big success in 1988 with the title "Divine emotions", a title taken from the album "Divine emotion" which will also be released the same year.
The adventure will continue thereafter but without the relief nor the honors which he will have known at the beginning of decade 80…
