Surely not star dancers...

Not much news about The Bolchoï other than the fact that it's an English band formed in 1984 in Trowbridge and originally composed of Trevor Tanner, Jan Kalicki and Nick Chown.

Group that will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for 2 big hits that are "Away" and "Sunday morning", both released in 1986.

As such alone, we had to devote this article to them.

To discover or rediscover.

Clips :

1985 ... a tone and style that won't really suit all audiences, to say the least. This is what we call confidential beginnings ...

1985 ... the sound is trendy, of course, but very Dark Wave oriented, a niche reserved exclusively for initiates as they say. Sensitive souls refrain...

1985 ... all the titles which will come out in this year 1985 will be built on the same sound scheme. This title will ultimately be the only one more or less affordable for ordinary people ...

1986 ... little change from the previous year. Without radical changes thereafter, the group will have a really hard time existing at the highest level ...

1986 ... the group is far from demerit but he still does not manage to pass the stage which would allow him to integrate for good the big leagues. A bit of patience...

1986 ... improvement is slow but certain. But what is certain is that the improvement will not take place during this year 1986 ...

1987 ... an adventure which is already drawing to a close. A group to say the least ephemeral and which will not have been able to find its place among the best. Too bad because the potential was real ...

1987 ... too bad because they were reaching maturity just when the adventure stops. This is called bad timing, to say the least ...
