It Bites is an English group formed in 1982 in Egremont and originally composed of Francis Dunnery, Dick Nolan and Bob Dalton.
It was the signing with the Virgin Records label in 1986 that allowed them to release a first Single called “All in red”, a Single which unfortunately went somewhat unnoticed...
Which is not the case for the following “Calling all the heroes”, a Single which will offer the group its first major success and which we will find on their first album “The big lad in the windmill” which will be released also that year.
Success confirmed but declining for the album “Once around the world” which was released 2 years later in 1988, an album which still produced two high-caliber Singles with the titles “The old man and the angel” and “ Kiss like Judas.
New album “Eat me in St. Louis” the following year in 1989, an album which allowed the group to remain at the same level thanks to 3 major Singles : “Still too young to remember”, “Sister Sarah” and “Underneath your pillow.”
Major singles which will be the last because the group will return later but without finding a level of success equivalent to that which they experienced before.
