First Choice is an American girl trio formed in Philadelphia and originally composed of Rochelle Fleming, Annette Guest and Wardell Piper. Trio which takes its first steps under the name of The Debonettes while the 3 girls are still students.
The real start of the trio took place with the release of a first single called "This is the house (Where love died)" during the year 1972, single which will not be classified but which will know a nice success of esteem in the Clubs.
The year 1973 finally saw them take off thanks to the release of a first successful single with the title "Armed and extremly dangerous", a single which gave them a first title classified on both sides of the Atlantic. Single from their first album which bears the same name and which was also released in 1973. Album which will produce a second single of great caliber with the title "Smarty pants".
Success was confirmed the following year in 1974 with the release of the album "The player", an album which was ranked higher than its predecessor, in particular thanks to the title which bears the name of the album.
Two years will pass before their new album "So let us entertain you" is released in 1976, a somewhat disappointing album that sees girls in somewhat pain. Album that will save furniture only thanks to the title "Gotta get away (From you babe)".
Back in force in 1977 with the release of the album "Delusions", album which will remain as the highest ranked of their entire discography, notably thanks to the enormous single "Doctor love".
The end of the 1970s saw them release a new album called “Hold your horses”, an album which would be their last classified album. Album which will only be successful thanks to the title "Double cross".
The girls will release a last album "Breakaway" in 1980, album which will go unnoticed to say the least and which will definitely seal the fate of the group.
To discover or rediscover.

1973 ... after a first title passed under the radar in 1972, the girls did it again in 1973. And the result was going to be much more favorable, resulting in the biggest success of their entire discography, just that !
1973 ... a beautiful year 1973 which saw them literally take off and thrown onto the front of the stage in a shattering way. All good girls !
1974 ... 1974 will not be so favorable to them but that does not prevent them from continuing their adventure quietly but surely. No reason to worry at this point ...
1974 ... especially as the successes follow one after the other. Admittedly, the level is lower than the previous year but success there is !
1974 ... three titles just for this year 1974 and three major successes. Girls have become in just 2 years safe values of the American music scene, it is clear
1975 ... after 2 totally euphoric years, 1975 will seem somewhat pale. With only 1 title on the clock and a success of the most average ...
1976 ... business picks up in this new year but the girls do not manage to regain the level of success of the beginning of the decade. Hard law of the trade ...
1976 ... this title will do much better than its predecessor. We thought the girls were lost on the way but it was bad to know them. The proof !
1976 ... a nice title full of finesse and lightness which shows that they are as effective in Dance as in Intimist. The Grandes brand of course !
1977 ... back to Dance mode. A winning comeback since they obtained their second biggest success here and definitively returned to the musical legend of the 80s. Bravo girls !
1977 ... the titles follow one another but are not necessarily alike. The proof with this title which almost goes under the radar. Astonishing paradox ...
1979 ... new year empty in 1978. The girls find a semblance of success with this new title but it will have nothing to do with what they experienced a few years ago ...
1979 ... and yet the girls do not deserve it. Trendy sound, just like the style. But now it lacks the little extra that made the difference in their beginnings ...
1980 ... and here they are, entering the 1980s with an obvious desire to do well. To begin with a Intimist title of big caliber. We take, we take !
1980 ... the only problem with the transition to the new decade is that they haven't really adapted their tone to new trends. Risky bet as they say ...
1983 ... risky bet and especially lost bet. They disappear from radars for 3 years and here they are back in this year 1983 in a relative form. So relative that this will be their last major title unfortunately ...
