The Wonder Stuff is an English band formed in 1986 and originally made up of Miles Hunt, Malcolm Treece, Rob Jones and Martin Gilks.
Group which began its career by releasing a self-financed mini album “A wonderful day” the same year, a mini album which would go unnoticed to say the least…
They will have to wait two more years and sign with the Polydor Records label in 1988 to succeed in releasing a real first album called "The eight legged groove machine". Album which will not go unnoticed this time and which will produce no less than four classified titles, the main one being "Give give give me more more more".
Success confirmed and amplified the following year with the release in 1989 of the album "Hup", album which will produce their first real hit with the title "Dont let me down, gently".
They will have to wait two more years and the year 1991 to finally see their efforts rewarded at the height of their merits with the release of the album "Never loved Elvis". Album which will remain as the biggest success of all their discography albums and which will produce 2 top hits which are "The size of a cow" and "Caugh in my shadow".
New album "Construction for the modern idiot" in 1993, album with a little less success than its predecessor but success all the same. Notably thanks to the flagship single “On the ropes”.
Despite these repeated successes, the group will end up separating in 1994 to return in the middle of the 2000s. Other albums will therefore be released but will not experience the success met by those released at the end of the 80s, beginning of the 90s. …

2012...then nothing interesting for almost 6 years. Here they are back in this new decade 2010 in luxury cover mode since they revisit here the title of Move dating from 1968. A revisited version which will not succeed them more than that...
2012...they continue to believe in it as if nothing had happened. As long as they take pleasure in doing what they do, there is no reason for them to throw in the towel, it is clear...
2012...especially since they are far from being ridiculous and the quality level remains sufficient for us to be interested in them for a minimum...
