Sylvia, whose real name is Sylvia Hutton, is a american singer-songwriter who started her career after signing in 1979 with the RCA Records label, a label that allowed her to release a first single "You don’t miss a thing". A first single to say the least successful since it allows her to obtain his first ranked title.
The beginning of the 80's saw her rise in power in a linear fashion with titles like "Tumbleweed" in 1980 followed by "Drifter" and "The matador" in 1981. A year 1981 which saw her release her first album "Drifter", album which meets with great success in the Charts.
But the recognition, the real one, arrived in 1982 with the enormous single "Nobody", the flagship single of his discography and which finally dedicated her to the planetary level. Title taken from the album "Just Sylvia" which came out the same year and which remains to this day the biggest success of all his discography on the album side.
The year 1983 saw the release of the album "Snapshot", an album of notorious success but which was unable to match the success achieved by the previous album. And who will especially be unable to produce a new world-class single.
Two other albums were released later, "Surprise" in 1984 and "One step closer" in 1985. Even if they had a nice run in the Charts, neither of the two will allow the singer to return to the top ...
