The Psychedelic Furs is an English group formed in London in 1977 and originally composed of brothers Richard and Tim Butler, Duncan Kilburn, Paul Wilson and Roger Morris. Group which is particularly noted at its beginnings in the punk movement, movement which literally dominates the English musical world at the end of the 1970s.
They released their first single "We love you" in 1979, a single which had some success… but paradoxically in the USA.
The group released their eponymous debut album a year later in 1980, an album with significant success this time on both sides of the Atlantic. In particular thanks to the title “Sister Europe”. The success was confirmed the following year when the album "Talk talk talk" was released in 1981, confirming the group's rise to power.
The start of global recognition came in 1982 with the release of the album "Forever now", an album that hit the nail on the head and produced the flagship single "Love my way". Single which literally explodes the notoriety of the group.
The great adventure continued in 1983 with the release of the album "Mirror moves", an album from which one of their biggest hits, "Heaven", was extracted. But also and above all, "The ghost in you", which offered them a new notorious success at the planetary level a year later in 1984.
But it was 3 years later, in 1987, that the group achieved consecration with the album "Midnight to midnight", album which remains to this day their biggest success in the Charts, in particular thanks to the enormous single " Heartbreak beat ”.
An enormous success which will unfortunately be the last because all the albums and singles which will be released subsequently will not experience the success of the previous opus.

1984 ... surprisingly, they will get their biggest hit Dance with this title, an area that is not really their bottom line. Either way, the title works flawlessly and shows obvious versatility !
1986 ... a first version of the title will be released in 1981 but will only experience relative success. The 1986 version will work much better. Like what, sometimes, you just have to be patient ...
1987 ... the band reached its peak with THIS title. A well-deserved consecration for a group which will undoubtedly remain as one of the major groups of the British scene of the 80s. MAS-TER-FUL !
