Limahl, whose real name is Christopher Hamill (in truth Limahl is Hamill's anagram), is an English singer best known for being the charismatic leader of the band Kajagoogoo. Group which will experience its heyday from 1982 to 1985 but which he will leave along the way to start its solo career.
Just before the Kajagoogoo adventure, he will form a first group 'Vox Deus' oriented punk music, then he will integrate a group called 'Crossword', finally ending up in a group called 'Brooks'.
His solo career really started in 1983 when the Single "Only for love" was released. And for a first solo title, it is a real success since the title is a real hit in the world.
A year later in 1984 released his first album "Don’t suppose", an album that was also going to be a hit. On the one hand with the Single “Too much trouble” but also, and above all, with the enormous title “The neverending story” which remains to this day his biggest solo success. Single that we also find on the soundtrack of movie of the same name.
New album "Color all my days" two years later in 1986, album which did not achieve the enormous success of its predecessor. Album that will struggle to produce the slightest major hit apart from the title "Love in your eyes" which will barely save the furniture.
A failure from which the singer will not recover and which will stop his dazzling ascent to the stars.
