Lisa Fischer is an American singer-songwriter who produced her first Single “On the Upside” in 1983 under the name Xena. Single which will bring her her first entry success.
New Single “Only love (Shadows)” a year later in 1984, a Single which this time went much more unnoticed…
We will find her in the years to follow playing luxury backing singers for artists like Melba Moore, Billy Ocean, Chaka Khan, Teddy Pendergrass, Roberta Flack and other Rolling Stones, no less !
Her solo career will restart in 1990 thanks to the release of the Single “Glad to be alive”, a Single which will allow her to be talked about again in a positive way, to say the least.
But it was above all a year later in 1991 that she was finally rewarded for her efforts with the successful release of her one and only album “So intense”. Album from which the biggest hit of her entire discography on the Singles side will be extracted with the enormous title “How can I ease the pain”.
Magnificent performance that she will never be able to repeat despite the release of other Singles subsequently.

2006...unfortunately that won't change much. She will have at least tried and who could really blame her...
2008...we will therefore find her here and there in a few projects which will at least have the merit of showing that she still exists...
