Pseudo Echo is an Australian band formed in 1982 in Melbourne and originally composed of Brian Canham, Pierre Gigliotti, Tony Lugton and Anthony Argiro.
The group released their first single "Listening" in 1983, a single which was to be highly regarded throughout the South Pacific.
Just like their first album "Autumnal park" which was released later in 1984. Album which contains their first title and from which will also be extracted another single of great caliber namely "A beat for you".
But it was especially the album "Love and adventure" which came out in 1985 that the group achieved a certain consecration. Notably thanks to titles like "Don’t go" and "Living in a dream".
Definitive consecration the following year in 1986 when their huge cover of the flagship title of the group Lipps Inc., namely "Funky Town", was released, a cover that would make a real worldwide hit and make them definitively fit into the musical legend of the 80s.
The album "Race", which was released in 1988, was only a limited success.
To discover or rediscover.

1983 ... a first title to break in and especially to talk about yourself. Bet won with a first classified title, certainly only in the southern hemisphere but it is already that as they say !
1984 ... the sound, like the style, are trendy and the rise in power is evident. It remains to find THE title that will make all the difference ...
1984 ... a rise that is not sufficient to make them break through internationally. The talent of the group is obvious but it cannot be sufficient on its own ...
1984 ... it is clear that they will have to find the little extra that could make the difference. We will therefore give time to time ...
1985 ... after a year 1984 particularly supplied in terms of large caliber, the year 1985 ensures the strict minimum union. Only one title classified that year ...
1985 ... all the same, this year 1985 has some nice surprises in store. Even if this title will not be classified, it shows that this group has resources, it's clear ...
1985 ... which will undoubtedly remain as one of their best titles. However, this title will not be released as a single and will therefore go completely under the radar. Strange casting error as they say !
1986 ... so will 1986 be the BIG year of the group ? It is the future that will say it but for the moment it starts rather not badly ...
1986 ... the first single ranked across the Atlantic, finally ! It took them a while to spread their fame but it is now done !
1986 ... then THIS title comes ! They deliver here an enormous revisited version of the no less enormous 'Funky town' of the group Lipps Inc. dating from 1980. The copy will do almost as much as the original and especially offer the group THE mega planetary hit after which he would run for years. MAS-TER-FUL !
1988 ... the result will unfortunately be much less favorable. The group will be unable to repeat the feat and will disappear from the radar in the years that will follow. Hard law of the trade ...
1989 ... the last title classified. And again, the hit of very small caliber. The group is no more than a shadow of himself and we feel that the inspiration has gone to look elsewhere if it was there ...
2012 ... after having disappeared from the radar for almost 20 years, here they are back in this decade of 2010. A return to say the least improbable but not without interest, it is clear !
2013 ... a comeback that is confirmed with this new title. A lot of groups from the 80s will try to be reborn during this decade of 2010. With more or less success ...
2014 ... no title during this decade will be classified but what is certain is that the group is far from being ridiculous. Like what nothing is ever finished !
