Carol Williams is an American singer-songwriter whose main particularity, apart from being a singer, is to be the first woman to have signed with the Disco Salsoul Records label.
Singer who released a first Single "Rattlesnake" in 1975, a Single which unfortunately went somewhat unnoticed. Just like "Just feel" which came out a year later in 1976...
Also the same year released the title "More" and there the singer will finally reap the fruits of her efforts with a first major success. Success which sees the release of the album "Ectric lady" in stride.
Album which will also contain the blockbuster Singles "Come back" and "Love is you".
The sequel will prove to be a little more complicated to manage than expected with a change of label to arrive at Quality Records and especially the release of a new album "Reflections of Carol Williams" with limited success to say the least...
She will save the furniture in extremis in 1982 with the Singles "Can't get away (from your love)" and "You've reached the bottom line" in 1983, two titles which will be the last to know the favors of the public...
