Booker Newberry III is an American singer who started his artistic career in a group called 'Mystic Nights' in the early 70s.
Then we find him in another group 'Sweet Thunder', a group with which he will produce 3 albums between 1976 and 1979 and experience some significant successes.
The solo career as for it starts from the year 1982 with the release of a first Single "I get romantic", single which will pass somewhat unnoticed...
He will have to wait another year and the release of his first album "Love town" in 1983 to finally see his efforts rewarded. In particular thanks to the release of the Single of the same name, Single which remains to this day the biggest success of all his discography.
Other titles will be released later but few of them will know the favors of the public.

1982 ... a first title which, despite an obvious quality, will pass more or less under the radar. But the basics are already there which is rather reassuring for the rest of the events...
1983...there was no need to wait long to see him take off in a sensational way, to say the least. He will get here the biggest success of all his discography and at the same time ignite all the Dancefloors of the planet. HU-GE !
1983 ... almost impossible for this title to compete with its predecessor as the bar has been set high. But it is far from unworthy, that's clear...
1983...a sequel that will turn out to be much more complicated to manage than expected. The fall in the Charts will unfortunately be as impressive as the rise...
1984...it's really hard to understand how he was able to go back into the shadows so quickly. Yet it all started in a way that was ideal, to say the least...
1986... he will obtain a last success with this title and still a success of small caliber as one says. Hard law of the trade...
1996...it will take him 10 years to succeed in getting back on his feet, but without succeeding in returning to the front of the stage. When it no longer wants, it no longer wants...
1996... frankly too bad because this new opus is not devoid of interest, far from it. It's really hard to understand why the general public is no longer interested in him...
1996...he spared no effort to get back into the race but nothing happened. He will therefore remain in the musical history of this end of the 21st century for a single title...but what a title all the same !
1996...an adventure that ends with finesse and shows that he was good in all registers. A career that should have been much better rewarded but fate will have decided otherwise...
