He heard the train whistle...

Not much information about Guy Criaki other than the fact that he is a French singer who will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the high-caliber single "Je m'en vais" released in 1982.

As such alone, he deserved this article.

To discover or rediscover.

1982 .... a single title, THIS title, was enough for the singer to obtain his direct ticket to posterity. Here he signs the biggest success of his career and one of the most emblematic Intimist titles of the decade on the French side. HU-GE !

1983 ... an Intimist register which will become his business. The only problem in the story is that too many Intimist risk killing the Intimist in the long term ...

1983 ... anyway, it is clear that he is obviously gifted for this particular field. Unfortunately, most of the titles produced in this area will go under the radar ...

1984 ... here he is trying his hand at a Dance register in which we feel much less at ease. With a title that borders on caricature ...

1984 ... chase the natural, it comes back at a gallop. It is clear that we prefer to see him in his favorite field, a field that suits him much better, it is clear ...

1985 ... a hybrid title that allows him to show another side of himself. Despite an obvious goodwill, this will not bring him back more than that on the front of the stage ...

1986 ... this revisited version of Richard Anthony's title dating from 1962 is nice, certainly, but so far removed from musical standards as long as it comes close to caricature once again ...

1988 ... after a sensational start to say the least, he spent the rest of his career chasing success. A success that he will unfortunately never have caught up to ...

1991 ... he will even attempt the transition to the 90s by changing his style somewhat. Unfortunately not enough to reverse the course of time. End of the adventure ...
