Michael Fortunati, whose real name is Pierre Nigro, is a singer of Italian origin but who grew up in the North of France. And that's where he started his artistic career by creating a first group called 'Carré d'As' with his brothers.
Group that will produce several titles during the 80s including "Vous qui passez sans me voir" in 1985 in particular...
A group he left in the mid-1980s to go solo under his new name of Michael Fortunati. New name under which he released his first Single "Give me up" in 1986.
And for a first try it's a real masterstroke since the title will make a real planetary hit and project the young singer in a shattering way to say the least on the front of the stage.
A feat that he cannot manage to repeat despite the release of other Singles afterwards.
