Little interesting information about New Paradise apart from the fact that it is a French concept-project which saw the light of day in 1979 under the leadership of Léo Carrier.
Concept-project that will remain mainly in the musical history of the end of the 20th century for the big-caliber single "Easy life" released in 1982.
As such alone, he deserved this article.
To discover or rediscover.

1979 ... a first title to break in and above all to give the entry trend : with this trio, it will be Dance, Dance, Dance. Spread the word !
1979 ... everything is trendy, the sound as the style. The group just has to unroll quietly until they produce THE title that will make them stay in history ...
1980 ... the exception that makes the rule. Even if the 3 girls will play it mainly in 'Dancefloor on fire' mode, this does not prevent them from adding to their prize list an Ultimate Slow worthy of the name. And my faith, they are far from being ridiculous in this area ...
1981 ... what was their strength at the end of the 1970s begins to seriously weaken at the start of the 1980s. They will have to adapt to new musical trends and quickly !
1981 ... that's it, the sound is changing a bit. Without counting a passage in French language. It makes you wonder if it's really the same group we're dealing with ...
1982 ... then THIS title comes ! This time will be the good one with their biggest record success and a direct ticket to posterity. Of course, this title will not remain as the Masterpiece of the decade, but it works very well. All good girls !
1983 ... the rest will prove to be a little more complicated to manage than expected. The girls do not demerit, far from it, but they will never manage to reproduce the feat achieved on the previous title ...
1984 ... anyway, the adventure continues for good. It is clear that they will rather play supporting roles from now on but the main thing is to participate as they say ...
1984 ... not sure that accelerating the tempo is the solution, especially when they play it luxury cover with this revisited version of the title of Donna Hightower dating from 1972. Risky bet and especially lost bet unfortunately. Attention danger...
1985 ... the girls do more of the extras than anything else now. The competition is so bloated opposite that it is almost impossible for them to compete on equal terms. Hard law of the trade ...
1986 ... in the series of luxury covers, here they are attacking the Jolie môme by Léo Ferré dating from 1960. It is certainly nice but it will not change the fact that the group is coming to the end of the race...
1991 ... we thought that mass was said but they are back 5 years later. Risky comeback and unfortunately failed comeback. When it doesn't want anymore, it doesn't want anymore ...
