Lillo Thomas is an American singer who quickly gained recognition, not as a singer, but as a top-level sprinter. He unfortunately had to abandon his athletic career following a car accident in Brazil in 1984.
A year earlier, in 1983, he launched a parallel music career with the release of his first Single, "You're a (Good Girl)". This track didn't go unnoticed and, more importantly, brought him immediate success. It was also featured on his debut album, "Let Me Be Yours," released the same year, which also garnered public acclaim.
His next album, "All of You," followed a year later in 1984, and it remains his highest-charting album, thanks in particular to the massive hit Single "Your Love's Got a Hold on Me."
But it was his next album, "Lillo," released three years later in 1987, that brought him fame and fortune in terms of Singles, with the hit Single "I'm in Love" and, to a lesser extent, "Sexy Girl."
The adventure continued, but the artist never again reached the level of success he had previously achieved.
