Children with frequent mood swings...
Kids In The Kitchen is an Australian group formed in 1983 in Melbourne by Scott Carne, Bruce Curnow, Greg Dorman, Craig Harnath and Greg Woodhead.
Their first single "Change in mood" was released in 1983 and enjoyed notable success, notably thanks to the group's multiple appearances in the flagship musical show of the moment "Countdown".
A year later in 1984 released the single "Bitter Desire", followed in 1985 by "Something that you said". Both will have a more than honorable run in the Charts.
The first album "Shine" was released soon after and sold over 70,000 copies.
It was with the single "Current stand" which also came out in 1985 that the group experienced one of their biggest hits, especially abroad.
In 1987 the album "Terrain" was released, an album that did not meet with the expected success. Failure which will spell the end of this group which frankly deserved to go further.
To discover or rediscover.

1983 ... an excellent first title which launches the group in an optimal way and allows them to obtain their first hit
1984 ... a quality sequel that shows the full potential of the group. A sound and a frankly original style that make all the difference !
1985 ... a dynamic of success which is confirmed in this new year. A little-known group but with obvious talent and which frankly deserved a much greater recognition than it was ...
1985 ... the year of the 4 hits but some are not worth the others. This one won't stay as their best, that's for sure ...
1985 ... the BIG year ! No less than 4 hits including this one which will remain as the biggest success of all their discography and one of their most emblematic title. HU-GE !
1985 ... we end the year on a high note with an Ultimate Slow of very high caliber. Versatile little guys, a versatility that is only found with the best !
1986 ... change of vintage and return to Dance with a title that spins at 200 km/h. Watch out for going off the road, friends !
1987 ... ooh there, this one goes fast too. But we feel the mastery and it all works perfectly. Still great work !
1987 ... they like big titles, that's obvious. Well, this one will not remain as their best either but that's okay...they will still have delivered us several beautiful specimens !
