Very little to say about The Mobiles except that it is an English group which will make itself famous in 1981 with their hit "Drowning in Berlin" with the sound so typical of the early 80s.
The single "Amour amour" which will be released a year later will also be popular with the public.
To discover or rediscover.

1981 ... the HUGE hit that will reveal them. The best of what is being done across the Channel at the start of the decade in terms of style and sound
1982 ... in the same vein. A quality suite which confirms an obvious talent for this group with an unfortunately ephemeral career
1982 ... what we really did best at the time New-Wave rating. A sound recognizable among all ...
1982 ... a title which will undoubtedly remain one of their most emblematic. Not necessarily their highest ranking but surely one of the most inspired, it's clear. MAS-TER-FUL !
1983 ... change of sound and return to Pop with a track that spins at 200 km/h at times. An astonishing overspeed on their part, but we will have avoided going off the road, that's already it !
1983 ... back to basics. Unfortunately, the inspiration is somewhat lacking and makes this title a title with quality after all ...
1984 ... the end of an ephemeral adventure which nevertheless allowed this group to show the full extent of its talent. And talent, there was, it's clear !
