Models is an Australian group formed in Melbourne in 1978 and originally comprised of Sean Kelly, Peter Sutcliffe and Ash Wednesday.
The group released his first single called "Early morning brain" in 1979, a single that unfortunately went completely unnoticed. Just like "Owe you nothing" which came out in 1980. They will experience a first semblance of success with the release of their first album "Alphabravocharliedeltaechofoxtrotgolf" which also comes out in 1980 but which will not produce any single.
On the single side, the tide finally began to turn in 1981 when the title “Cut lunch” was released. A title that finally offers them a beginning of recognition but unfortunately limited recognition to Australia.
New album "Local &/or General" the same year, album which is also popular with the public but which paradoxically does not produce any major single. This was not the case with the album "The pleasure of your company" which was released two years later in 1983 and which produced the hit "I hear motion".
They will have to wait another two years and the year 1985 to finally achieve some semblance of consecration thanks to the album "Out of mind, out of sight". The album will be a hit in the entire Anglo-Saxon sphere and produce the top hit which bears the name of the album. Album which will also produce a second hit with the title "Cold fever".
They had a last major success in 1986 with the album "Model's media" from which the main track "Let’s kiss" was extracted mainly.
