You’re the one for me...

D Train is an American duo composed of singer James Williams - D Train - and keyboardist and producer Hubert Eaves III.

The group's first success dates back to 1981 with the single "You’re the one for me", a single that was to be a real hit when it came out and ranked No. 1 in the American Hot Dance Clup Play.

A few months later, in 1982, released the album of the same name, from which 2 new hits, "Keep on" and "Walk on by", were released.

In 1983, the album "Music" was released, the title of the same name going almost as brilliantly as "You‘ re the one for me".

1984 was the year of consecration - relative - with "Something’s on your mind" which was the only title in the group's entire career to enter the Billboard Hot 100 in 79th place.

The group will know a last hit in 1985 with "Just another night (without your love)".

To discover or rediscover.

1982 ... then comes THIS title ! He delivers here a huge title that will set fire to all Dancefloor on the planet and offer him at the same time a direct ticket for posterity. Surely one of the biggest Dance hits of the 80s, or even at the end of the 20th century. MAS-TER-FUL !

1983 ... same sound and tempo even more sustained. A recipe that works perfectly and which above all offers him a new global top hit

1983 ... copy and paste ! Nothing exceptional about this title but rhythm, rhythm and more rhythm! Isn't that what we ask of dance ?

1984 ... and then, suddenly, the tempo slows down. He's trying his hand at Ultimate Slow and it works just as well. Versatile boy !

1985 ... we end as we started, that is to say thoroughly ! One last Dance title story of ! But hey, it's also his favorite field ...

1986 ... a story which is not entirely finished since he returns solo from this year 1986. And what is certain is that with two or all alone, his talent, him, does not vary !

1986 ... a BIG year 1986 with a plethora of titles and quality on all floors. But with him, quality is a habit ...

1986 ... back in the Intimist domain, a domain which is not necessarily his favorite domain but in which he is far from demerit, it's clear !

1986 ... and what about this one ! A song that literally floats in the air and shows vividly that this singer really has an above-average talent. MA-GIC !

1988 ... this time, it is indeed the end. He obtains his last hit here and again, a hit of small caliber. The exit door is fast approaching ...

1988 ... come on, a little last for the road. This title will not even be classified but it would have been a shame to hide it as they say ...
