You know what : they can do it !

Central Line is an English group formed in 1978 in London and composed of Steve Salvari, Camelle Hinds, Lipson Francis and Henry Defoe.

Not much about the history of this group except that they released their first two singles "Wot we got its hot" and "Sticks & stones" in 1979. Singles which are only relatively successful.

It wasn't until 1981 and the single "Walking into Sunshine" that the group finally reached the top of the Charts. Huge hit that will set fire to all Dancefloor on the planet.

They will experience a last success in 1983 with the single "Nature boy".

To discover or rediscover.

Clips :

1979 ... rather successful beginnings with this title with the double influence Disco-Funk. Already ahead of their time the little guys ...

1979 ... a first year of existence which shows that this group really has talent. Now it remains to produce THE title that will change everything ...

1980 ... decade change and first real funky track. We immediately see that we do not have to do with amateurs ...

1981 ... the group is gaining momentum, it's obvious. The best is yet to come, that's clear. So something big is going to happen, that's for sure !

1981 ... it is THIS title that will make their fortune and their glory. Here they sign one of the biggest dance hits of the decade. All the Dancefloor on the planet still remember it. Just like us ! MAS-TER-FUL !

1982 ... impossible to compete with the previous jewel as the bar has been raised. What will not prevent this title from holding the road, it is clear

1982 ... it grooves, it rocks well but it is not enough to reignite. Despite obvious goodwill, the group cannot repeat the feat of the previous year ...

1983 ... we feel like a certain recovery in hand. Inspiration returns slowly but surely. Not sure that this is unfortunately enough ...

1983 ... well, when we are struggling, we take old standards of yesteryear which have already been proven. All the more so when it is Nat King Cole dating from 1948. As paradoxical as it may seem, it is this title that will remain as their best ranked across the Channel ...

1983 ... their last notorious hit. But also their last single. A title of sure quality and which allows them to finish their epic in the best possible way !
