The March Violets is an English group formed in 1981 in Leeds and originally composed of Tom Ashton, Laurence ‘Loz’ Elliot, Simon ‘Detroit’ Denbigh and Rosie Garland.
A first mini-album "Religious as hell" was released in 1982, a mini-album that will allow them to emerge from the shadows.
But it was above all the year 1984 that saw their notoriety gain momentum with the release of 2 flagship singles "Snake dance" and "Walk into the sun".
In the end, a little-known group but with certain talent and which produced several high-caliber singles that it would have been a shame to ignore.
To discover or rediscover.
