Positive Noise is a Scottish band formed in 1979 and originally comprised of the Ross brothers, Graham and Fraser Middleton, Russel Blackstock and Les Gaff.
Their first achievements appear on the compilation "Second city Statik" which was released a year later in 1980. But they will have to wait another year to finally experience success thanks to the release of two Singles in quick succession that are "Give me passion” and “Charm”.
Their first album "Heart of darkness" was also released in 1981 and will also be popular with the public. Even if this success will be limited to independent Charts whether it is Singles or albums side.
New album "Change of heart" a year later in 1982, album which confirms the good health of the group with the production of 3 new Singles starting with "Positive negative" then "Waiting for the 7th man" and "Get up and go”.
They will release a last album "Distant fires" in 1985, album with very modest success. A poor performance that will stop the group's rise sharply and precipitate its downfall irreparably.
