Rational Youth is a Canadian group formed in 1981 in Montreal by Tracy Howe and Bill Vorn, both unconditional fans of the German group Kraftwerk.
Their first single "I want to see the light" was released in 1981 and went relatively unnoticed despite an obvious quality.
The following year in 1982 released their first album "Cold war night life". An album that will be a hit ... in Canada. It will be said that it is already better than nothing. An eponymous mini-album was released a year later in 1983. More than average success.
It was in 1985 that the band would finally have their heyday with the release of the album "Heredity". Flagship album of the group which will generate no less than 3 top hits which are "No more and no less", "Call me" and "Bang on".
But who will be the band’s one and only major hits.
