The monkey dance...

Trans-X is a Canadian group, more precisely Quebecois, formed in Montreal at the beginning of the Eighties by Pascal Languirand, which will be joined quickly by Steve Wyatt.

Group that will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the enormous single "Living on video" released in 1983.

As such alone, we had to devote this article to them.

To discover or rediscover.

Clips :

1983 ... a particularly successful first title which launches the career of the group in an ideal way. The sound is trendy, as is the style. Rather auspicious all that !

1983 ... a first year to break in and especially to make talk about yourself. At this level, the least we can say is that the group has reached its goal !

1983 ... then THIS title comes ! The group signs here quite simply the biggest success of all its discography and at the same time offers himself a direct ticket for posterity. MAS-TER-FUL !

1986 ... a sequel of certain quality but which will not be able to compete with the previous steamroller. It must be said that given the level of success achieved by "Living on video", difficult to match a performance of such a level ...

1986 ... the group continues its adventure but the level of success has nothing to do with that reached in 1985. Hard law of the trade ...

1988 ... now the group does more some figuration than anything else. Yet we can not blame him for much. But the general public has decided to look elsewhere ...

1995 ... they will try the passage to the decade 90 but their good will will not be enough to reverse the course of the things. When it doesn't want anymore, it doesn't want anymore ...

1995 ... and it is not this title that will change much. An adventure which ends in complete anonymity but which at least had the merit of producing one of the flagship titles of the decade !
