Kon Kan is a Canadian group originally from Toronto and formed in 1988 by Barry Harris. An Atlantic Records employee on vacation in Toronto spotted the single "I beg your forgiveness" when he heard it at a local nightclub. He made several copies which he gave to surrounding stores and transmitted it to several radio stations back in New York. The single was rearranged and released by Atlantic Records in 1989 and returned directly to the Billbord Top 20. The album "Move to Move", recorded the same year, contained other interesting titles like "Harry Houdini" or "Move to Move". The group embarked on a tour of South America and Asia which was a real success. 2 other albums will be released, one in 1990 under the name of "Syntonic" and the other in 1993 under the name of "Vida!
