Army Of Lovers is a Swedish band formed in 1987, originally composed of Alexander Bard, Jean-Pierre Barda, and Camilla Henemark.
This band will be remembered primarily in the musical history of the late 20th century for its extravagant visual style, its high-quality music videos, and, above all, for the powerful singles "Crucified" and "Obsession," released in 1991.
For this reason alone, we felt compelled to dedicate this article to them.

1988...a first single that went somewhat unnoticed but at least had the merit of launching the group. That's something, at least...
1988... this one won't do any better, but a career is built over time, so you have to be patient at the beginning. They'll have to be, in any case...
1989...still no takeoff in sight, but we're getting closer, slowly but surely. They're working on it, anyway...
1990...they had to wait until the beginning of the following decade to take off, but this time it would be the right one, at least with the achievement of a first global top hit...
1990...we thought the group was going to smash it in 1990, but surprisingly that wasn't really the case...
1990...this title, just like its predecessor, will go somewhat under the radar and above all remind us that the group still needs to consolidate its position, it must be said...
1991...and to solidify it, they're going to solidify it ! Starting with that first mega global hit which will undeniably make them one of the phenomena of the moment...

1994...the adventure will continue but at levels of success that have nothing to do with what they experienced at the beginning of the decade...
1994...with more and more titles that will go almost unnoticed. A strong takeover is more than necessary at this stage...
1995... they still believe, certainly, but at first glance, they seem to be the only ones left. The rest of the story is therefore going to be somewhat complicated to manage, at first glance...
1995...a slight rebound on the charts with this new Single, but it would indeed be the last time. The band would therefore have to make the most of it while they could...
