The fire...the rain...
Dresden China is a German group formed by Uli Werdin and Werner Littau in 1985. Which are quickly joined by Lutz Sommer, Wahrmut Sobainsky, Patrice Jones, Stephan Neumeier and Jurgen Beckmann.
Very little information about them except that they will remain in the musical history of the 80s for a title namely "Fire and rain".
They will produce two more well-made singles that it would have been a shame to ignore.
To discover or rediscover.
Discography (among others ...) :
Fire and rain 1985
Tonight you’ve got no friend 1986
Don't leave me with a broken heart 1986
Come back 1986
We are wise 1986
1985 ... an excellent first title which positions them as one of the very best German bands of the moment. Made in Germany as we like it !
1986 ... a second title which is combined in Intimist mode. And my faith, they also provide in this area the little guys !
1986 ... a group of multiple talents and multiple inspirations. And yet who will remain little known. Go figure !
1986 ... back to pure dance. In a recognizable Germanic style. We do not remake !
1986 ... a discography in the end quite light but of high quality. It is already that and we will largely be satisfied with it !
