Tappi Tikarrass is an Icelandic group formed in 1981 and which will stay in history mainly for having been one of the very first groups of singer Björk. Which will be surrounded by Oddur Sigurbjörnsson, Jakob Smári Magnússon and Eyjólfur Jóhannsson.
Group name for the less daring since it means in Icelandic “Cork the Bitch’s Ass". The other peculiarity of the group, apart from its strange name, will be the fact that Bjork will perform with the group dressed and made up like a porcelain doll…
The group will produce few titles apart from the mini album "Bitið fast à vitið" in 1982 and the album "Miranda" in 1983, two productions which will remain confidential to say the least except in Iceland where they will go a little less unnoticed...
