Rod Stewart is an English singer, of Scottish origin, who discovered music at 12 years old when his father offered him his very first guitar. In 1975, it was with a takeover of the Sutherland brothers, "Sailing", that he experienced one of his biggest successes. Followed in 1976 by the album "A night on the town" which contains the title "Tonight’s the night", which becomes the hit of the summer. 1977 will be the year of the hits "You’re in my heart" and "I don’t want to talk about it". And it was in 1979 that the planetary bomb "Da ya think i'm sexy" was released from the very controversial album "Blondes have more fun", a cult title which made him the essential star we know today. Follow 3 years where the success is less despite the release of 3 albums. Only the Singles "Young turks" and "Tonight I’m yours" stand out. It was not until 1983 that he returned to success - limited to Europe - thanks to the album "Body wishes" and the now cult "Baby Jane" and to a lesser extent "What I am gonna do " 1984 and 1985 will be 2 sabbatical years for the artist before a return in 1986 with the album "Every beat of my heart" from which the Single of the same name is taken. Who will experience a success of esteem once again in Europe. 1988 will be the year of a last success with the album "Out of order" in collaboration with an ex Duran Duran and an ex Chic and which will be his flagship Single "Forever young".
