Sa-Fire, whose real name is Wilma Cosmé, is a Puerto Rican singer who really started her artistic career by releasing a first Single called “Don't break my heart” in 1986. A Single which gave her a first success, albeit of weak magnitude, but still. Ditto for the following Single “Let me be the one” which would be released the following year in 1987.
But it is above all the year 1988 which will finally allow her to be rewarded as high as her hopes thanks to the release of her first album which quite simply bears her name.
Album which will allow her to move from the shadows to the light in a shattering way to say the least since this album will produce no less than 4 big hits. First “Boy I’ve been told” which would be released the same year, then “Love is on her mind”, “Thinking of you” and “Gonna make it” which would be released the following year in 1989.
New album “I wasn’t born yesterday” two years later in 1991, an album with less success than its predecessor but which still produced 2 new hits with the titles “Made up my mind” and “Taste the bass”.
Two hits which will be the last because everything that comes out afterwards will only have a relative level of success, to say the least.

Tracks :
1986...a first title which will not go unnoticed and which will offer the young Wilma her first classified title. Excellent start as they say...
1987...few titles for the moment but all are classified nonetheless, which is not nothing. While waiting for THE title that will really lift her to the top...
1988...still on the same basis of only one title per year but each time the level of success goes up a notch. Isn't that the main thing...?
1989...finally arrives the year of recognition, the real one. With a first title which allows her to prepare a sequel which promises to be very successful for the young singer...
1989...and here is finally THE title which will allow her to obtain her direct ticket to posterity and above all to obtain the biggest success of her entire career. HU-GE !
1989...and 3 ! Three titles released and three top hits, just for this year 1989. Certainly this one will experience less success than its predecessor but still...
1990...we start again in 'one title per year' mode at the very beginning of the 90s. Only one title but once again with certain success...
1991...a success which cannot be denied in this new year 1991. For the moment everything is going in an ideal manner, to say the least...
1991...at least until this title. Because unfortunately it will be the last to be classified and the rest will prove to be a little more complicated to manage than expected...
1991...this title will not be released as a Single but it would have been a shame to hide it regardless. So here it is brought back to light as it should be...
1991...same for this one. Some excellent work accomplished on this album which contains more than one title of certain quality...
1996...we lost sight of her for almost 5 years and here she is back in 100 % Hispanic mode. A return that will go unnoticed to say the least...
1996...it is clear that singing in Spanish does not necessarily help with international influence. Others have succeeded but not her on this one...
1996...a shame because she is far from undeserving. But we're not going to lie, the best years are now behind...
2001...we will see her one last time at the very beginning of the 2000 decade. A return which will also go unnoticed to say the least...
