Sex Bomb...

Tom Jones, born Thomas John Woodward, is an English singer with a career spanning the 1960s to the 2000s, who began his musical career singing in pubs.

He is noticed by a certain Gordon Mills, singer of the group "The Viscounts" who feels the good move, becomes his agent.

Thus in 1965 the singles "It’s not unusual" and "What’s new Pussycat" were released, songs written by Mills himself but interpreted by a Tom Jones with a warm and powerful voice. Success is immediate !

His clothing look, particularly "trendy" for the time, made him a sex symbol that made fans hysterical.

He took a break from his singing career in the late 1960s by hosting an internationally successful TV show "This is Tom Jones".

Then he moved to Las Végas in the 1970s where he gave a number of concerts.

In 1979 he returned to the top of the Charts with the single "Love is in the air" which was taken disco from John Paul Young's tube.

He later released a series of country albums which unfortunately did not enjoy the same success.

It was not until the year 1988 that he saw a new rebirth from the ashes through his collaboration with the group "Art of Noise" and the release of the single "Kiss" which will be ranked No. 1 in the British charts.

And in 1999, new master stroke where despite an age more than advanced, he released the album "Reload" which contains a single which will go around the world and become a best seller of the 2000s namely the now cult " Sex bomb ".

Title which in truth is a resumption of the title "All American girls" of Sister Sledge.

Until his next stroke of genius….

To discover or rediscover.

1965 ... 2 mega hits for the price of 1 ! He does it again in stride and signs a new world class standard here

1966 ... when we sing on the soundtrack of a James Bond, it is that we are necessarily at the Top ! An Operation of Thunder !

1966 ... in Serial Lover mode. His field of predilection and in which he excels, it is clear !

1967 ... we take the same and start again a year later. Always as effective !

1968 ... his 3rd mega hit of the decade. And not least, surely one of its most emblematic

1968 ... back to Dance (Sixtie's version) with a track speeding at 200km/h ! A real wonder where we find all the societal codes of this end 60

1969 ... erotic year. The Bellâtre at its best and on a seductive register that still works as well

1970 ... a decade change on the wheel caps. But a decade which will prove to be much more complicated to manage than expected ...

1971 ... his last mega interplanetary hit of the decade ! Before his long crossing of the desert ...

1971 ... a quality suite but struggling to find its audience ... The 1970s, with all its revolutionary new innovations on the sound side, were going to give a damn old look to the Bellâtre ...

1979 ... the luxury takeover of John Paul Young's hit tube which will damn bring Jones up to date. Surely one of the biggest hits of the late 70s. A musical monument !

1981 ... but this resurgence of temporary popularity was not enough to put the singer back on the rails of success. Another decade that promises to be difficult to cross ...

1982 ... XXL ballad but which no longer corresponds to the standard of the time. This does not prevent him from continuing the adventure, whatever it takes ...

1983 ... an 80s decade which saw him switch to Country mode, a highly risky bet and which will especially marginalize him more than anything else ...

1987 ... surprisingly, despite a very 60s sound, he is back in the race at the end of the decade. A end of decade that will rather succeed ...

1988 ... then the Miracle arrives thanks to this luxury cover of the title of Prince dating from 1986 ! A total and salutary metamorphosis orchestrated by one of the most innovative groups of the moment, namely Art of Noise. Surely one of the biggest hits of the decade. Hat Has Been !

1989 ... there is finally as a semblance of evolution, the singer has finally adapted to the new musical standards of the moment. It was time !

1991 ... the beginning of the 90s which is done very smoothly and this time in a style perfectly in tune with the times. Like what, when he wants ...

1994 ... 30 years after its smashing debut, Sex Bomb is still there ! What a career !

1999 ... his biggest hit of the decade. Certainly, on a luxury cover of a Talking Head title dating from 1983, but this version replayed with The Cardigans is a real success, it's clear !

2000 ... a new decade for the Old Lion ! After the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, he is back on track again with what will remain as one of his most incredible successes. An Nth comeback that smashes everything in its path. He signed one of the biggest Dance hits of the last 40 years, just that !

2000 ... Grandpa is resisting ! Mind-blowing images where the grandfather freelances with a small youngster. MAS-TER-FUL !

2006 ... as a Guest Star once again with young kids ! It rocks ! But how far will it stop ...?
