Tom Jones, born Thomas John Woodward, is an English singer with a career spanning the 1960s to the 2000s, who began his musical career singing in pubs.
He is noticed by a certain Gordon Mills, singer of the group "The Viscounts" who feels the good move, becomes his agent.
Thus in 1965 the Singles "It’s not unusual" and "What’s new Pussycat" were released, songs written by Mills himself but interpreted by a Tom Jones with a warm and powerful voice. Success is immediate !
His clothing look, particularly "trendy" for the time, made him a sex symbol that made fans hysterical.
He took a break from his singing career in the late 1960s by hosting an internationally successful TV show "This is Tom Jones".
Then he moved to Las Végas in the 1970s where he gave a number of concerts.
In 1979 he returned to the top of the Charts with the Single "Love is in the air" which was taken disco from John Paul Young's tube.
He later released a series of country albums which unfortunately did not enjoy the same success.
It was not until the year 1988 that he saw a new rebirth from the ashes through his collaboration with the group "Art of Noise" and the release of the Single "Kiss" which will be ranked No. 1 in the British charts.
And in 1999, new master stroke where despite an age more than advanced, he released the album "Reload" which contains a Single which will go around the world and become a best seller of the 2000s namely the now cult " Sex bomb ".
Title which in truth is a resumption of the title "All American girls" of Sister Sledge.
