Stevie Nicks, whose real name is Stéphanie Lynn Nicks, is an American singer, who will also be in composition and who will have first evolved within the now legendary group Fleetwood Mac before embarking on a solo career which will prove particularly prolific and successful. It was his grandfather, country music singer, who taught him to sing from the age of 4 and to make duets. She joined her first group The Changing Times during her high school years, but it was at the age of 20 that the real things started when she joined the group "Fritz" with her period companion Lindsey Buckingham. In 1973, the two lovebirds decided to stand on their own two feet and jointly recorded a first album which unfortunately had very little feedback. It’s some time after Mick Fleetwood, whose aid group beats listens to his compositions and is immediately seduced by its potential. The Nicks / Buckingham couple joined the Fleetwood Mac group at the end of 1974. His first big success was the title "Rhiannon", which remains one of its best to this day. She will record other big hits with the group like "Dreams", "Gold dust woman", "Magnet and steel" ... It was in 1979 that she wrote one of her most emblematic titles, namely "Sara". And she decided to stand on her own two feet in 1981 with her album "Bella Donna" which proved to be a huge commercial success. While continuing to produce for Fleetwood Mac with which she released the now legendary "Gypsy" the same year. 1983 saw the release of his solo album "The Wild Heart" which included the planetary hit "Stand back". And 1985 saw her rewrite the must-have "Seven Wonders" for Fleetwood Mac. And 1989 will see its last major success with the hit "Rooms on fire". This gifted artist will unfortunately have been the victim of her addiction to drugs and various tranquilizers which will have considerably affected her end of career. To discover or rediscover. 1975 ... the very hip' beginnings in a group which will become one of the most legendary of the decade. A start of career to say the least shattering !
1976 ... an exceptional adventure which produced several exceptional titles and made the group one of the major groups at the end of the 20th century
1976 ... finished the hip 'period, we feel like a semblance of a femme fatale looming on the horizon. The beginning of the mutation ...
1978 ... the mutation accelerates and things are set up for a solo suite which also promises to be incredible ...
1978 ... when two big names sing together, the result is up to par ! For the solo suite, we will still have to be patient ...
1979 ... the WONDER ! Always with a few friends ... Which will surely remain one of his most beautiful titles !
1981 ... his first real solo hit...at least as a duo ! And not with just anyone ! Result of the races : her first real mega hit all by herself !
1981 ... the year of the duo. New title with finesse and softness which allows the singer to increase in power slowly but surely on the personal side ...
1982 ... a little beef with the same friends, just to remember the good old days. And what a title again ! MAS-TER-FUL !
1982 ... finished running in duo mode, here she is for good on its own way. And my faith, it's going to pulsate, to say the least !
1983 ... the transcosmic hit which definitively consecrates her as a solo singer and raises her to the rank of planetary star. MO-NU-MEN-TAL !
1983 ... BIG year 1983 with a plethora of titles but with a fairly fluctuating level of success. This title will not have the same level of success as the previous one ...
1983 ... and even if the level of success fluctuates, the level of quality remains very high. The proof with this title ...
1983 ... a title to say the least particularly punchy but which will not necessarily remain as its best. She is never as effective as in the Intimist, its versatility, especially in clearly more rock songs unfortunately has limits, it is obvious ...
1983 ... she will be released in all and for all 6 singles in this single year 1983. With a start of a smashing year and an end of the year completely the opposite ...
1985 ... a last mega hit with his friends from Fleetwood Mac. The lioness is then at the height of her possibilities !
1985 ... after an empty year 1984, we find her in an Olympic form in this year 1985. Who says Olympic form says mega success. Starting with this one !
1986 ... this one is not bad either. A dynamic that does not weaken from an Iota and which allows her to continue to fly in properly stratospheric heights !
1986 ... here comes a nice title with all its smoothness and finesse that literally floats in the air. A sumptuous title which takes us to countries where only calm and sensuality reign. MA-GIC !
1989 ... after 2 decades at the top, you would think that she will stop there. What a denial ! When there's more, there's more...
1989 ... another BIG year with a mess of single and a Stevie Nicks still as much in cleats. Tireless little one !
1991 ... she begins its 3rd decade without having aged ! But how does she do it ? Simply extraordinary talent !
1994 ... like an aftertaste of Fleetwood Mac. It really feels like going back 20 years. Nostalgia when you hold us...
1994 ... unfortunately all good things come to an end. It is not yet the end of the adventure but it is above all the irreversible stall in the Charts. But what a career !
2011 ... listen to that ! And yes, we are in 2011...she started her career in 1973... Always there, always as talented, always as efficient ! Hats off, Madame Nicks !
