Madleen Kane is a Swedish singer who started her artistic career not as a singer but as a Top Model at the age of 17, working in particular for the German magazine Burda Moden.
It was only at the age of 20 that she turned to song when she was spotted by the manager of Boona Music Productions. And it is the label Warner Bros which will allow her to release a first album "Rough diamond" in 1978, album with the nice success of esteem in particular thanks to the Single of the same name.
But it is especially with the following album, "Cheri", which will be released a year later in 1979, that things will suddenly take height. Album which will produce several high caliber Singles such as "Forbidden love", "Secret love affair" and other "You and I".
New album "Sounds of love" the following year in 1980, album which will see the singer stay in contact with the best mainly thanks to the title "Seek not".
The year 1981 saw the release of the album "Don't wanna lose you", album carried at arm's length by the Single "You can", a title which remains to this day the singer's only title in the American Billboard Hot 100. Other Singles taken from the album will also have a rather favorable fate, in particular "Playing for time" and "Fire in my heart".
New and last album "Cover girl" in 1985, album which will produce a last major hit for the singer with the title "I'm no angel".
