Whistle is an American group formed in 1986 and originally composed of Jazzy Jazz, Kool Doobie and Dj Silver Spinner.
Very little about them except that they will remain in the musical history of the 80s mainly for the title "(Nothing serious) Just buggin" which comes out the year of their creation.
They will experience other successes thereafter but which will be limited mainly to US R&B Charts.

1986 ... a first title which positions them from the start as one of the most beautiful revelations of the moment on the HipHop side. Race results : planetary mega hit to start. What could be better !
1986 ... a sequel of great quality, inspired and yet will not even be classified. But who once again demonstrates that this group is anything but a small group of amateurs
1987 ... a single-title year but one that allowed them, in any event, to get back into the race. Of course, we will have to be satisfied with a success only limited to the States but it is better than nothing !
1988 ... a really particular style which makes all their originality. To this are added melodies always inspired. In short, an alchemy that works my faith very well
1988 ... ah, the Ultimate Slow which was missing from their discography. Well, there it is. And my faith, even in this register, they excel !
1989 ... a new foray into the Intimist, it becomes a mania for them. No more Dance, take out the handkerchiefs ! Well, is it going to last, that's less about them
1990 ... that, one had to suspect that the natural would come back at a gallop. Change of decade and change of tone. They want to keep up with the times, that's clear. While keeping part of their originality. Well seen the little guys !
1990 ... and here comes the Intimist relapse. A new beautiful foray into this field with a sumptuous title that literally floats in the air. MA-GIC !
1991 ... we take the same ones and start again the following year. Admittedly, this title will not have the level of incredible inspiration of the preceding one but approaches it more or less. A consecration in the field of 'With emotions' well deserved !
1992 ... they alternate with disconcerting ease between Dance mode and Intimist mode. A group of extreme versatility and undeniable talent !
1992 ... come on, we're over you know how...well, smoothly, again. What better way to end a magnificent adventure of a group which would have really deserved a recognition much higher than what it was !
