There's not much interesting information about Soulsister other than the fact that they're a Belgian band formed in 1985 by Jan Leyers and Paul Michiels.
The band will primarily be remembered in the musical history of the late 20th century for their powerful Single "The Way to Your Heart," released in 1988.
For that reason alone, we felt compelled to dedicate this article to them.

Tracks :
1988...a first title that would bring them their first success, admittedly limited to the Netherlands, but success nonetheless. That was something...
1988...and with just their second Single, they hit the global jackpot. We wouldn't call it a mega-hit, but it was still a significant success that guaranteed them a ticket to posterity. HU-GE !
1989...as is so often the case, when the start is dazzling, the subsequent landing can be nothing short of brutal. Which will be the case with this track...
1990...even though their success has declined significantly, that doesn't mean the quality of their music is lacking. This duo has talent, regardless...
1990...with this new track they will prove that they are certainly not there by chance and that the enormous success of their second track was anything but an accident...
1991...especially since there weren't that many Belgian groups singing in English during that period. It's therefore worth remembering...
1991... a rather atypical title for the time, hence some underperformance. But overall, it's still a well-made film, as they say...
1992...another hit that will enjoy a nice run in the charts, but only in Europe. They'll be more than happy with that, that's for sure...
1992...unfortunately, what followed was going to be a bit more complicated to manage than expected, with the near-complete disappearance of the Charts...
1993...yet they are doing their best to try and stay in the race, but the competition has now gained a significant lead...
1993...it's a shame because they really didn't need much to stay in contention. But that little something extra that made all the difference at the start of their career is sadly gone...
1994...this doesn't discourage them at all and they think that an upgrade of their style and sound might be welcome...
1994...it was a good try with the previous title, but the test was short-lived. We would have liked them to extend it a little longer...
1995...it's clear that this kind of title isn't going to capture the attention of younger generations. A surprising and somewhat counterproductive strategy...
1995... they're having fun, certainly, but it's at the expense of their public image. An image that is now inevitably quite limited...
1997...they do occasionally try something here and there, but these attempts are far too rare and inevitably go unnoticed in the end...
2007...a major 10-year hiatus, but here they are again no matter what. Now the question is, what project will they come back with ?
2008...because coming back is great, but you still need to have asked yourself the right questions. The music world has evolved somewhat since their last appearance...
2010...as always, there's quality in all of this, but not enough to put them back in the spotlight. Nice try nonetheless...
2020... their appearances are now fleeting, to say the least. Another 10-year hiatus, but here they are again, no matter what, before disappearing once more...
