Dollie De Luxe is a Norwegian duo formed in 1980 under the name Dollie and composed of Benedicte Adrian and Ingrid Bjornov. Duo which will take the name of Dollie De Luxe in 1984.
Duo which released a first album "Første Akt" the year of its formation, album which will be a great success in Norway. Followed by the album "Dollies dagbok" a year later in 1981, an album that will confirm the duo's status as a phenomenon of the moment in the Scandinavian sphere. Ditto for "Rampelys" which came out in 1982.
The 2 girls will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1984 with the title "Lenge leve livet". A participation that will see them finish 17th out of 19, a place to say the least unflattering ...
This will not prevent them from knowing a semblance of recognition in 1985 with the title "Queen of the night", Single which will know its hour of glory especially in France. Title taken from the album "Rock Vs Opera" which will also be released in 1985 and which will once again be a notorious success in Norway.
Other titles will come out later but none will manage to repeat the performance of "Queen of the night".
