Not much news about The Art Company, also known as VOF De Kunst, other than the fact that it's a Dutch group formed in 1983 by Nol Havens. Group that will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the enormous single "Suzanna" released in 1983.
As such alone, we had to devote this article to them.

1983 ... just a single title, THIS title, was enough to bring the group into the musical legend of the 80s. A title totally outside the standards of the moment but with formidable efficiency. The Perfect Heist !
1984 ... the rest is nice but the fall of the group will be as fast as its rise. The group will disappear as quickly from the radars as it appeared there and that, nothing and nobody, will be able to change nothing ...
1985 ... the style is really too simplistic to hope to compete on a level playing field with the best. The group continues to believe in it but it is obvious that the success will now be confined only to their country of origin ...
1987 ... a group moreover sympathetic but which would still have to stick a plus to the expectations of the general public. After, choice wanted or choice imposed, good question ...
