Little information about Jean-Michel Navarre except that he was a French singer particularly known for having been part of the group 'Week-end Millionnaire', a group from Toulouse that would experience a semblance of recognition in the late 70s, early 80s.
Notably with titles like "Ouù que tu ailles" in 1978, "Appelle moi" in 1979, "Autoroute 6" in 1980 as well as "Pars" and "Plus jamais seul" in 1981.
For this reason alone, we had to dedicate this article to him.

Tracks :
1978...a first title that will allow them to start getting people talking about them. We are not talking about a big take-off but a nice critical success...
1978...a first quality opus that shows that this group has more than real potential. It remains to be seen what they will do with this potential...
1978...a sound and style typical of that era and perfectly in tune with the times. What more could you ask for...?
1979...they will even succeed in making people talk about them in Canada and thus significantly increase their level of influence...
1979...even if this group will not remain as the most famous of the decade it is clear that he will have succeeded in producing titles of more than evident quality...
1980...a light, fresh and airy style typical of this blessed era and which we will unfortunately never find again afterwards...
1980...we would have liked this small group to shine a little more in the light but he will have been eclipsed by bigger ones who will have succeeded in capturing all the light...
1981...at least they tried and what is certain is that they did not deserve it. They just lacked THE title that could have made all the difference...
1983...they will never have succeeded in producing a major title that could have tipped the scales in their favor. Hard law of the trade...
1985...here is the singer now solo and suddenly he is the one who will come out the best in this story. Especially thanks to THIS title !
1985...his disappearance from the top of the mountain will be as quick as his appearance but he will still have managed to make a name for himself, a real one !
1987...this does not mean the end of the adventure concerning him but everything that follows will only have a limited level of success...
1988...it would have been a shame if he had stopped there because he still has things to offer and especially things to sing at first sight...
1988...he was good in all registers but that was not enough to give him a solo career worthy of the Greats...
1988...places at the highest level are expensive, very expensive and there are few of them. Many applicants but few chosen in the end...
1990...after that, it didn't stop him from having a very honourable career, whether alone or with others...
1991...especially since he's back in grouped mode. A return to his roots that he considers essential at this stage, just to remember good memories...
1991...a grouped mode that will allow to produce a last opus just for the sake of it. Nothing transcendent but good work once again...
1991...a group that will have missed its story a little and will have been eclipsed by others sometimes less talented. Such is life as they say...
