Shy is an English band formed in 1980 in Birmingham and originally composed of Tony Mills, Steve Harris, Paddy McKenna, Mark Badrick and Alan Kelly.
Group which released a first album "Once bitten...Twice..." in 1983, album which will be a great success. Success esteem which allows them to be noticed by several labels including RCA Records, label which signs them shortly after.
It was precisely with this label that they released their new album "Brave the storm" in 1985, an album which saw them clearly rise in power thanks to the large-caliber single "Hold on (To your love)".
New album "Excess all areas" two years later in 1987, album of the consecration which will produce the biggest success of all their discography with the single "Break down the walls". Despite this notorious success, RCA Records decided to separate from the group, which then moved to MCA.
New album "Misspent youth" in 1989, album which will not really know the same level of success as its predecessor. Just like the other albums that will be released later. Repeated poor performances which will see the group gradually disappear from the radar and inexorably ...
