He was subsequently found within the African Museum label, label with which he won his first notorious success with the title “My only lover” in 1972.
During the 1970s, he will experience other major successes with titles such as "All I have is love", "Lonely soldier", "Black a kill black", "Extra classic", "Border" and others "Number one”…
A great adventure that will continue during the 1980s with new hits including the enormous "Night nurse" in 1982 and a few years later "Rumors" in 1988.
Other albums would be released later, but the singer would never regain the level of success he enjoyed during this decade.
Considered until the end as one of the most gifted Jamaican singers of his generation, he passed away on October 25, 2010 from lung cancer, leaving behind a particularly extensive discography.
