Sharon Redd is an American singer who began her artistic career in the late 1960s with the release in 1968 of her debut title called "Half as much". Single which will unfortunately go completely under the radar.
She had her first notable success at the end of the 1970s with the title "Love insurance", but the title was released under the group name Front Page, depriving her of a first solo success worthy of the name.
She will have to wait for the beginning of the 80s and the release of the single “Can you handle it” to finally see his efforts rewarded. The title is a hit on both sides of the Atlantic and finally propels her to the forefront. Single from his eponymous debut album released the same year.
