Not much info about Gangway other than the fact that it's a Danish band formed in 1982 and originally composed of Allan Jensen, Henrik Balling, Torben Johansen and Jan Christensen.
A group that will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the high-caliber single "My girl and me" released in 1986.
As such alone, we had to devote this article to them.

1985 ... like most Scandinavian bands of the time, talent is there. It is clear with this first title ...
1986 ... then THIS title comes ! A title which allows the group to enter quietly but surely into the musical legend of the 80s. Deserved recognition, that's clear. HU-GE !
1988 ... of course, they will not stay in history as the most prolific of their generation. But whatever, better the quality than the quantity as they say !
1991 ... the title of consecration. They deliver here one of their biggest titles and prove in a brilliant way that they had their place in the big leagues. Great work !
1991 ... they will produce more titles during this decade 90 than during the previous one. With a certain qualitative level but which tends to decrease somewhat ...
1992 ... too bad they did not know, or could, regain the incredible breath that carried them during the 80s. The great adventure continues but something has changed, for sure ...
1992 ... anyway, they still manage to amaze us and deliver highly inspired titles. The proof with this one !
1993 ... a group which will have remained in the shadow of other much better known Scandinavian groups. Too bad because he had everything to appear at the top of the poster !
1994 ... they will try to adapt to the new trends of the moment. Their good will is obvious but that will not be enough to change the situation concerning them ...
1994 ... their first foray into the Intimist domain. And the least we can say is that they should have been there a long time ago. They deliver here a sumptuous title which literally floats in the air. MA-GIC !
1994 ... they try to resist by all means but unfortunately the game is over. They will never come back in the race and will only play supporting roles ...
