Not much information about Finzi Kontini other than the fact that it's an Italian trio formed in 1984 and originally composed of Fabrizio Baldoni, Bruno Rosellini and Claudia Colombi.
The same Fabrizio Baldoni who will stay as one of the most prolific composers of Italo Disco hits of the 1980s. A composer who can boast of having sold no less than 20 million records to this day as a composer-producer, just that !
The trio will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the enormous Single "Cha cha cha" released in 1985. Single that will literally set fire to every dancefloor on the planet that year.
As such alone, we had to devote this article to them.

1985 ... a single title, THIS title, was enough to make the fortune and the glory of this trio. An enormous Dance title which will set fire to all the Dancefloor on the planet and offer the group a place of choice in the musical pantheon of the 80s. MAS-TER-FUL !
1986 ... they will never manage to repeat the feat achieved on the previous title but the rest holds up. Of course, it's mid-range Italo Disco, but we'll be happy with it ...
1986 ... a year 1986 which ends better than it started with this much more inspired title which puts the direct trio back in the race. Hope it lasts ...
1987 ... an improvement of short duration which sees the group leaving again in the all-comer. Be careful not to overdo it easily as they say ...
1987 ... we find the same rhythmic bases as "Cha Cha Cha" but this title will unfortunately not meet the same level of success. The copy is not worth the original ...
1987 ... a year 1987 bloated in terms of titles but which will not allow the group to resurface anyway. The competition is now too far ahead for the trio to hope for any miracle ...
1989 ... they will believe in it until the end but their good will will not be enough to reverse the course of time. When it doesn't want anymore, it doesn't want anymore ...
1989 ... they try to adapt to the latest trends but it is far too late. They had to start the shift years ago ....
1992 ... a transition to the 90s which will hardly change the situation. Nice last stand but in absolute terms useless. End of the adventure as they say ...
