Robbie Nevil is an American singer-songwriter who started playing music at the age of 7 but who really began his artistic career at the age of 25. A start in 1983 which saw him begin to write for others and not least like the Pointer Sisters, El Debarge, Alison Moyet and other Earth Wind and Fire.
He released a first solo album in 1986, an eponymous album which will allow him to see his notoriety explode overnight. An album mainly driven by the enormous single "C’est la vie", a track that will make a real worldwide hit and set fire to all Dancefloor around the world.
Album that will produce two more hits the following year in 1987 with the singles "Dominoes" and "Wot's it to ya".
Success confirmed the following year in 1988 with the release of the album "A place like this" less successful than its predecessor but still successful. "Back on holiday" in 1988 and "Somebody like you" in 1989 will be the main extracts and achieve more than honorable scores.
Small 2-year break before the release of the album "Day 1" in 1991. Particularly inspired album which allowed him to come back in force on the front of the stage, in particular thanks to the flagship title "Just like you". A shattering return which will unfortunately be the last.
