Not much news about Hipsway other than the fact that they are a Scottish band formed in 1984 by former Altered Images guitarist Johnny McElhone. Which will be joined by Graham Skinner, Pim Jones and Harry Travers.
Group with ephemeral existence and which will remain mainly in the musical history of the Eighties for the title "The Honeythief" released in 1986 and which will know a nice planetary success that year there.
For the record, it is the same McElhone who will also form in 1986 another small group better known under the name of… Texas!
