Apart from that they have no problems ...

Very little info on Alex Et Les Lézard other than the fact that this is a French group that will stay mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the big-caliber single "Dur dur" released in 1980.

As such alone, we had to devote this article to them.

To discover or rediscover.

Clips :

1980 ... a single title, THIS title, was enough to bring this group out of nowhere into the musical legend of the 80s on the French side. All thanks to a totally supercharged and typical sound side track from the beginning of the decade in France. All good little guys !

1980 ... still so excited but with less success. The fall is going to be as quick as the rise. After reaching the heights of success at the speed of light, the group will disappear from the radar at about the same speed ...

1981 ... of course, they will continue to produce titles. But this boosted style works on a title but too much boost kills the boost. Something they have not really integrated ...

1981 ... we go from one extreme to another. The tempo finally slows down and here they are, opening the time of a title to an Intimist page. We could have hoped for a possible trend reversal for them. But the '60s crooners' style used on this title will seem frankly obsolete at the start of the 1980s ...

1981 ... of course, chase the natural, it comes back at a gallop. We suspected that the sweetness parenthesis would only last for a moment ...

1983 ... they won't have changed from an Iota in style until the end. A fatal to-endism that will very quickly shorten their career ...
