Belouis Some, whose real name is Neville Keighley, is an English singer who started his career in 1984 with a first single "Target practice" which went almost unnoticed.
It was the following year, 1985, that everything suddenly accelerated when the album "Some people" was released, which produced a first hit "Imagination". And what a hit, planetary-caliber hit. A title whose clip will create controversy partly due to scenes of nudity present within it. Either way, the singer's fame exploded overnight.
A second single "Some people" was released in the wake and although it did not enjoy the same level of success as its predecessor, the sales scores are again substantial.
A meteoric rise followed by an almost proportional fall. No notorious title to bite into in 1986. And the album "Belouis some" which was released later in 1987 did not produce any major hits. Only the singles "Let it be with you" and "Animal magic" will perform pretty well.
Anything that comes out later will meet with little public resonance.
